A sudden malfunction hits Facebook around the world

On Sunday morning, the Facebook platform, affiliated with the American company Meta, was subjected to a widespread technical failure, which led to the inability of a number of users to access their accounts in different regions around the world.
Users reported that they had difficulty opening their accounts, as a message appeared stating that “the account is temporarily unavailable due to a problem with the site,” with the platform confirming that it is working to resolve the problem soon.
The message that appeared to users added: “We expect to resolve this issue soon. Please try again in a few minutes.”
Reports of holidays in several countries
According to the digital malfunction monitoring platform "Down Detector", users in the United States, Europe, and Australia, in addition to Arab and Gulf countries, including Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Lebanon, have registered reports about the disruption of Facebook services.
Meta has not yet issued an official clarification regarding the cause of the malfunction or the scope of its impact, while monitoring of the gradual return of service to affected users continues.
